Hi, I’m Mary Violet Cliffe, the founder of The Pin-up Rebels, and I’m so glad you’ve found me!
I’m a wife, a proud boy mom, a daughter, sister, best friend, and a passionate storyteller. Fueled by coffee, an occasional glass of wine, and a love for video games, I pour my heart into every moment of life—and every boudoir session.
Boudoir photography is my calling. I live, breathe, and dream it every single day. I don’t dabble in other genres because I’ve dedicated my craft to empowering women (and all humans!) like you—especially those who’ve never posed in front of a camera or seen their own worth.
We’re often our own worst critics, constantly feeling like we’re not enough in a world that sets impossible standards. I’ve seen too many incredible women struggle with self-doubt or lose themselves to the weight of unrealistic expectations.
My mission is to help you rediscover yourself through boudoir photography. Together, we’ll create artwork that’s unapologetically raw and real, celebrating everything that makes you uniquely beautiful—stretch marks, cellulite, wrinkles, and all.

Why is this boudoir studio called
“The Pin-up Rebels?”
The name The Pin-up Rebels is a bold declaration of empowerment and defiance. While the term "pin-up" traditionally evokes images of women posing to captivate or entice others, often through a patriarchal lens of beauty, a pin-up rebel flips the script entirely.
At The Pin-up Rebels, we reject the idea that beauty must conform to societal or patriarchal standards. This isn’t about fitting into someone else’s ideals or existing for anyone else’s gaze. A pin-up rebel reclaims the experience for herself—celebrating her beauty, strength, and individuality on her own terms.
We’re here to break the mold. This is about rebelling against the narrow definitions of beauty imposed by society, dismantling the patriarchal lens, and embracing the truth that beauty is diverse, imperfect, and deeply personal.
Every session is a journey of transformation and self-love. These images are not for anyone else but for you—a fearless act of self-celebration that honours who you are, unapologetically and authentically.
